Property Finding

By making the payment of 500€ you agree to appoint us as search agents on your behalf. In addition you agree to pay us the outlined success fee in respect of any property we show you and you subsequently purchase.

Fees are payable upon signing the Compromis de Vente. If, after four months, the search is unsuccessful A place in Charente Maritime reserve the right to charge a further 500€ re-registration fee.

A place in Charente Maritime accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of any description given by the agents or the state of repair of the property. Nor can we accept responsibility for information given to us on planning restrictions, restraints or future changes to environment or infrastructure. .

We advise you have these independently checked, we can recommend English speaking surveyors in the area if required.

You, in turn, agree to seek the appropriate professional advice, satisfy yourself as to legal title and generally indemnify us against any other misrepresentations. Again, we can recommend English speaking Notaires in the area.

Property Maintenance & Management

All work to be agreed and paid for one month in advance.

Project Management

Payment is usually 10% of the total project payment of which to be agreed at signing of contract.
